Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role, demonstrating the ability to communicate customer requirements for Snowflake’s capabilities, particularly Snowpark conversion for Java, Scala, and Spark-based back-end software modules. Strong experience delivering requirements for the design and development of back-end big data frameworks built on Spark, incorporating features like Spark-as-a-Service is required, along with familiarity with ETL workflows utilizing scripting languages such as Python and shell scripts. A deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors is also desired.
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for acting as a technical expert on all aspects of Snowflake, providing informal leadership on optimizing migration delivery for SQL and/or Spark workloads. You will participate in workshops and design sessions with stakeholders, consumers, and product teams, creating repeatable processes and documentation as a result of customer engagement. Furthermore, you will develop best practices, enablement, and knowledge transfer to empower customers to fully understand and extend Snowflake’s capabilities. You will provide guidance on resolving customer-specific technical challenges, working hands-on with customers to demonstrate implementation best practices, maintain a deep understanding of Snowflake technology, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing efforts.
