Requirements

5+ years of combined experience in applications pre-sales (SaaS environment) and/or supply chain design and planning, with a plus for experience applying formal sales methodologies
Deep Subject Matter Expertise in Supply Chain Design, Planning, Complex Sourcing, and general spend management challenges (Procurement, Analytics, Risk Management, etc.)
Specific domain expertise in more than one of the following: supply chain modeling, production planning, forecasting, distribution, inventory management, or strategic sourcing
Knowledge of the principles of optimization and how it is performed using software packages
Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and adjust the message on the fly

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales and partners on new business and renewals to understand customer requirements, create services budgets, roadmaps, and Statements of Work (SOWs), and assist with RFx responses
Provide functional product expertise on Coupa’s supply chain design, planning, and sourcing optimization offerings through tailored demonstrations and the development of use-case demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs)
Act as the SME on supply chain best practices for both prospects and the sales team, providing training and domain knowledge to the solutions advisory team
Liaise directly with the Product Management team to share prospect requirements and market insights, influencing the future product roadmap for Supply Chain design, planning, and sourcing optimization
Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales by working collaboratively with Customer Success, Delivery teams (internal professional services), and Product Marketing to promote market positioning
