Requirements

Experience working with managed packages (install, upgrade, configure, delete) and how they interact with Salesforce ecosystem governing limits
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado to promote changes through higher orgs including production
Experience with Source Control Management, participating in Pull Request Reviews, resolving merge conflicts, and helping team members
Experience working on inbound and outbound integrations into and out from Salesforce platforms using various Salesforce integration patterns
Experience with Salesforce data model and data concerns to help non-Salesforce teams
Expert in working with standard and custom objects, configuration, and other Salesforce out-of-the-box configurations, toolsets, and declarative programming
Experience understanding and suggesting Salesforce APIs and providing OAS for callouts into Salesforce
Experience with Salesforce event architecture and maintaining existing codebase
Experience implementing security and access provisioning using Salesforce sharing and access mechanisms
Ability to work and connect with multiple teams on Agile train to understand cross-team dependencies

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, document, and implement solutions and reusable assets across various Salesforce Clouds (sales, service, experience) using declarative programming and custom programming (Apex, LWCs), aligned with Salesforce best practices and GreatAmerica’s architectural standards
Practice test-driven development, creating and implementing effective unit tests and code coverage for all solutions
Implement sound logging and other diagnostic tools into each solution deployed
Implement the right level of monitoring and alerting for business processes supported by the solutions developed
Refactor and optimize solutions to increase value and productivity of the team
Troubleshoot applications and data issues and implement bug fixes
Optimize and extend features in existing Salesforce environments
Work on inbound and outbound integrations into and out from Salesforce platforms
Participate in Salesforce data discussions and help non-Salesforce teams with Salesforce data model and data concerns
Extend support to functional and nonfunctional testing teams to deliver on the implemented product
Extend support to other developers on the team for issues and hurdles to maintain solid output
Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across solutions
