Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, specializing in building scalable back-end systems and platforms
  • Deep experience integrating and scaling storage systems, cloud-native services, and related open source projects (e.g., Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of common DevOps tools and practices
  • Firm grasp of quality and security engineering principles
  • A vision for great software and engineering, with the technical expertise and leadership skills to realize it

Responsibilities

  • Scale the data processing and storage layer to handle exponentially growing customer data, from terabytes to petabytes
  • Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs, with a goal of scaling to hundreds or thousands
  • Drive improvements to core systems to support 100x growth in practices, patients, and developers
  • Own cross-functional projects end-to-end, from design to launch
  • Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to achieve ambitious engineering goals
