Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex user-facing software, ideally within a studio environment, with proficiency in Python and experience developing back-end data management solutions utilizing SQL and/or NoSQL databases. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required. Familiarity with OpenColorIO, OpenImageIO, and/or OpenTimelineIO is a bonus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will develop and extend the API of dpix, our proprietary media management application, and improve and create new customizations of RV, Autodesk’s Playback App, including advanced color pipeline, real-time synced reviews, and visual draw-over feedback. They will partner with artists, production leadership, and other technologists to support the creation and maintenance of playback and review tools, and develop new artist-centric interaction models using the latest hardware and technologies.
