Industry experience with projects such as Hydra or Auth0, and proficiency in languages such as Python or Golang is desired. Candidates should be capable of owning problems end-to-end and willing to acquire any necessary knowledge to complete tasks. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities is essential.
The Senior Software Engineer will architect and build the next generation of authentication and authorization systems at OpenAI, integrating with future product roadmaps. They will work across the stack to develop end-to-end authentication products for various ChatGPT and API users. The role includes designing the identity platform for consumer internet scale and addressing scalability challenges. Additionally, the engineer will build tools to facilitate other engineers in incorporating authentication into their products and collaborate with stakeholders across product, design, and engineering teams.
