Requirements

Candidates should have a strong technical background and significant experience building production web applications, understanding how to write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries (PostgreSQL is a plus), experience designing and documenting RESTful APIs, and experience building Ruby on Rails applications and APIs. They should also be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and value quality.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer I will collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to provide elegant solutions to Wrapbook customer problems, lead the delivery of complex problems with ambiguous requirements, take ownership of feature delivery from concept to production, write performant, scalable, and secure software, review and have their code reviewed, mentor and learn from other developers, ensure code is well-tested and well-architected, actively improve tools, processes, and best practices, improve existing complex architectures and platforms, and communicate tradeoffs for technical choices.
