Requirements

Candidates should have experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services. Experience with Javascript/Typescript/Node/Retool is a plus. A strong understanding of storage systems such as relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and analytical databases is required. Demonstrated experience in understanding customer pain points and bridging their needs to technical & product requirements is essential. A high degree of initiative and ownership, combined with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to change, is necessary. Exceptional ability to structure problems and identify the most critical issues to prioritize, along with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing, is expected. Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with a diverse group of people at all levels in an organization is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design full stack internal applications, including Front End UI/UX and Backend APIs, with a deep understanding of customer experience and performance. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal TRM APIs that touch critical parts of the business. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders on transforming functional visions into tangible roadmaps with clear outcomes and supporting internal business units through shared engineering services and functionalities. Additionally, the engineer will develop cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across the organization to understand and empower their mission from end to end.
