Requirements

5+ years of professional experience with Java or another JVM language such as Kotlin or Groovy
3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience working with React (our framework of choice), AngularJS, or Vue.js
Experience in using the Spring Framework (or similar frameworks) to design and implement RESTful web or microservices
Experience building applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud infrastructure, with familiarity in IaC tools such as Terraform or CDK
Practical experience in DevOps activities, including CI/CD, GitLab, and containerization technology (preferred)
Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB (preferred)
Experience writing APIs that adhere to the RESTful and GraphQL standard (preferred)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred)

Responsibilities

Develop web applications for a high-impact product in the US market, working with a supportive team and mentors to gain expertise across various areas
Contribute to building new capabilities for cloud API-based products and microservices, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Integrate multiple backend, cloud-based internal services to deliver an outstanding customer experience
Utilize test-driven development, paired programming, and continuous integration methods within an agile environment
Collaborate closely with colleagues, including developers, project managers, and product owners in both Poland and the US
Lead and mentor junior developers, establishing coding standards and coaching them to enhance their skills and performance
