Requirements

7+ years in software testing, with at least 5 years focused on test automation using Java and any Test tool
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Proven experience in testing Web Services, Web UI, APIs, Mobile App, and Salesforce applications
Proficiency in Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber and other automation tools
Experience with Java, JavaScript or other functional languages
Well versed in Postgres & Snowflakes, including writing SQL queries
Experience in leveraging core AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for Test Automation; familiarity with AWS architecture and best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think of creative solutions to systems-based issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extensive experience in decision-making: differentiates assumptions, perspectives, and historical frameworks; evaluates past decisions; assesses and validates options; advises others; uses effective approaches; ensures objective analysis

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, Selenium
Acquire client requirements; resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
Utilize automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Experience in customising default reports and libraries of Playwright
Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing
Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
Implement strategies for managing and provisioning test data efficiently
Work effectively to transform innovative ideas to fruition
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to automated tests
Generate comprehensive test reports and analyze results to identify trends and areas for improvement
Mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
