Requirements

Candidates must be US Citizens due to FedRamp requirements. A Computer Science degree and/or relevant experience, along with 5+ years as a Software Engineer or SDET, are required. Proficiency in coding across various languages, hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, and expertise in designing test frameworks/suites and developing test automation for both frontend and backend are essential. Familiarity with the Playwright framework is preferred. Experience designing and developing tools and tests for complex customer use cases, cross-collaboration with other teams, and understanding of data-intensive applications or data stream processing are necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.

Responsibilities

The Software Development Engineer in Test will integrate with, improve, and build upon continuous testing systems, testing automation, and reporting of quality metrics. They will work closely with development teams to ensure proper test planning and execution is incorporated early in release cycles. Responsibilities include identifying performance bottlenecks, spotting anomalous system behavior, determining root causes of issues, and effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. This position may require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
