Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of distributed architectures, capacity, and performance challenges with data at scale. Experience writing Golang code in production, working with Kubernetes for highly available cloud-based microservices, and experience with asynchronous or streaming ingestion and processing systems are required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary. Proven ability in collaboration, autonomy, and ownership, with clear communication and documentation, is expected. Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance work quality and accelerate timelines is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will engineer distributed systems operating at high request volumes using Go, Kubernetes, and GCP. They will explore new feature ideas through architecture and framework design, ensuring the quality, efficiency, and reliability of capture and extraction systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with peers through design discussions, pair programming, and code reviews, as well as owning the operational health of built features, monitoring services, and resolving issues. The role involves leading iterative projects to improve the Ingestion pipeline and delivering enhancements for performance, reliability, and efficiency.
