Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge and history of leveraging open source and open technology
  • Strong knowledge and experience with programming languages
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
  • Golang and REST API integration experience
  • Nice to Have: SNMP, Netflow, API; OpenTelemetry; Linux; Cloud - Kubernetes, AWS; Java, Python

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and/or creating architecture design diagrams
  • Leveraging open source and open standards to deliver new service with minimal coding
  • Creating a new dynamic service for SNMP, API, and Flow device monitoring
  • Implementing effective security protocols and data protection measures
  • Implementing automated testing harness to fully exercise new service
  • Coordinating with internal teams to train and support new technical solution
