Responsibilities

Design, configure, test, monitor, and support a platform or application to deliver business value and maximize capabilities
Keep applications current by staying abreast of new releases, features, and add-ins
Explore or optimize application integrations
Set up and manage system users through role-based authorization
Build deep subject matter knowledge for a domain or capability area
Define, develop, and enforce standards where applicable
Contribute to and refine the team’s backlog; partner with teammates and Product Owner to break down work, ensure clear value and acceptance criteria, inform estimates and prioritization, identify dependencies, and influence the product roadmap
Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, backlog refinement, planning, review/demo, retrospectives)
Drive collaboration within the team (e.g., pair programming) and continuous improvement
Understand application architecture for the squad’s broader area, including partner teams
Create and maintain accurate business process design documents and support playbooks
Mentor junior and intermediate squad members to build application and subject matter expertise
Ensure thorough testing of new features/functions, including integrations and end-to-end flows; leverage automation; facilitate user acceptance testing; troubleshoot and fix bugs
Monitor and observe health, availability, and performance of software in production; diagnose issues; implement new monitoring and alerting
Navigate application data programmatically (e.g., via SQL or scripting) to inform decisions
Perform other duties as assigned
