Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-7+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with proven experience in both strategy development and hands-on execution. Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and content production skills are essential, along with proficiency in social media tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with social analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Insights is required, as are excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Sora, and Descript is also necessary, with bonus points for experience in influencer marketing and/or paid social advertising.

Responsibilities

The Senior Social Media Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand objectives, marketing campaigns, and business goals, identifying key performance indicators and success metrics for various social platforms. They will stay current with social media trends and AI/tech advancements to infuse the strategy with timely insights and storytelling. This role involves planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across social channels, owning the social content calendar, and actively engaging with followers to build community. The manager will also partner with influencers and creators, collaborate with performance marketing on paid social campaigns, track and analyze key performance metrics, and use data insights for ongoing content optimization and strategy refinement.
