Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, specifically within distributed systems environments. Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure, is essential, as is a deep understanding of infrastructure as code principles and automation tools. Experience with messaging systems, streaming platforms, and NoSQL databases is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Messaging, Streaming, and Caching platforms that power Workday’s products and SKUs. This includes architecting new capabilities, automating deployments and operations, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting complex issues. You will collaborate closely with application and service teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of Workday’s infrastructure across both private and public clouds, and contribute to the overall improvement of Workday’s distributed systems platforms.
