Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in an SRE, Operations, or DevOps role, with demonstrated experience operating highly available infrastructure and running applications and services at scale. They must also have experience implementing containerization solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with proficiency in shell scripting and a programming language commonly used in SRE/Operations engineering, and comfort with open-source configuration management and orchestration tools like Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform.

Responsibilities

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining public-facing infrastructure and services, utilizing configuration management and deployment tools, performing architectural design and operation at scale, monitoring systems and services for performance and resource utilization, proactively identifying instability sources in distributed systems, executing common operating system tasks, implementing cookbooks/runbooks for routine maintenance, participating in 24/7 on-call rotations and leading incident response efforts, automating tasks and streamlining processes, collaborating with a global team, and mentoring peers. They will also be expected to travel domestically or internationally 2-3 times per year for team gatherings and conferences.
