Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience, with at least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise customers in a highly technical support role. A minimum of 3 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required, along with familiarity with CI/CD concepts, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Helm Charts, and Terraform. Strong communication skills and startup experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Support Engineer will take ownership of customer issues by triaging, investigating, managing, and resolving complex problems related to Chainguard Images. They will escalate issues to the Engineering team as needed, provide timely communication to customers while maintaining SLAs, and document detailed investigations of new issues. Responsibilities also include creating and managing Knowledge Base content, raising issues and feature requests to engineering and product teams, and participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
