As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer, you'll be a key player in ensuring the reliability and performance of our mission-critical services. You'll combine software and systems engineering to build, maintain, and enhance our systems, driving continuous improvement at a rapid pace. This role focuses on guaranteeing the availability and uptime of both internal and external systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Passion for ensuring the seamless operation of large-scale, distributed, and robust systems.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and driving iterative processes.
• Ability to take ownership of the end-to-end availability and performance of services.
• Experience with on-call rotations and troubleshooting production issues.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in SRE, DevOps, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers on iterative processes and task planning.
• Own the availability and performance of services, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system stability.
• Foster collaboration with other engineering teams and promote the reuse of frameworks.
• Lead the development and achievement of service-level objectives.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software releases.
• Automate and optimize infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Maintain and enhance version control systems and repositories.
• Steer and drive the SRE/DevOps roadmap, taking full ownership and engaging in strategic planning.
