Senior Service Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Designer with extensive experience in research and service design to join our team. This role is crucial for uncovering insights, synthesizing complex information, and creating compelling service design artifacts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customer-centered solutions that align business objectives with user needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead qualitative and/or mixed-method research to gather customer and stakeholder insights.
- Synthesize and analyze research findings to identify key patterns, themes, and opportunities.
- Design and deliver actionable service design artifacts, including journey maps, service blueprints, ecosystem maps, and stakeholder models.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to foster team alignment and solution identification.
- Present findings, recommendations, and visual deliverables to senior stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborate with diverse teams (strategy, marketing, brand, product, experience) to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Promote service design principles and customer-centric thinking across projects and teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in service design and qualitative research, supported by a strong portfolio.
- 3+ years of experience in creating and leading the development of visual synthesis outputs (e.g., stakeholder maps, journey maps).
- Proven ability to understand user behaviors and connect individual insights to broader systemic opportunities.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with experience influencing senior leaders.
- Understanding of marketing strategy, customer segmentation, and audience positioning.
- Experience conducting research in B2B environments and complex decision-making contexts.
- Excellent visual storytelling and artifact creation skills, proficient in tools like Figma, Miro, or similar.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, particularly for co-creation and strategic alignment.
- A degree in Service Design, HCI, Design Strategy, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated systems thinking ability, capable of analyzing both detailed data and high-level implications.
