Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with over 6 years of software engineering or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications in security and cloud platforms are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Senior Security Engineer will develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for cloud environments and Linux-based systems. They will design and manage security protocols for edge devices while performing regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. This role includes staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, developing and enforcing security policies, and conducting security awareness training. The engineer will collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle and respond swiftly to security incidents, leading investigation and remediation efforts. Additionally, they will engage with partners and clients to discuss security posture and manage CIS compliant OS images for cloud infrastructure.
