Position Overview

Huntress is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive revenue growth by expanding our footprint in the Mid-Market segment. You will be instrumental in prospecting new relationships and qualifying opportunities for our Mid-Market Account Executive team. This is a quota-driven role requiring strong communication skills, a solid understanding of cybersecurity and the Value-Added Reseller (VAR) community, and the ability to effectively position Huntress's value proposition.


Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Conduct outbound prospecting to Internal IT Departments and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) with 100-3000 employees via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Relationship Building: Establish trust and rapport with VARs to understand their solutions, team structure, territories, and ideal customer profiles (ICPs).
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate on outbound prospecting strategies for both VARs and Mid-Market Internal IT Departments.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a contact and opportunity pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Account Executive team to schedule demos and support deal closures.
  • Quota Attainment: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  • Data Management: Maintain data hygiene in Salesforce (SFDC), documenting all interactions and ensuring accurate prospect and opportunity data.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a passionate understanding of Huntress's cybersecurity products, our human-led SOC, monthly educational webinars, and competitor offerings.
