About The Role: As a Manager of Sales Development, you will lead our exceptional high agency team to achieve ambitious objectives to drive overwhelming demand for our data activation platform, develop the future leaders of our company, and grow our brand recognition in the market.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Within one month:

    • Start building a trusting relationship with your direct reports and peers.
    • Contribute to making decisions on how our sales development team goes to market and expands our footprint via a scaled outbound motion.
    • Build a better understanding of our values and how that would map to expectations for your team’s success.
    • Peers in sales and marketing are enthusiastic to work with you because you reliably follow-through with your commitments.
    • Complete all product and sales certifications.
  • Within three months:

    • Improve planning, communication, hiring, and onboarding processes to help the team scale as we grow.
    • Instill the operational rigor and measurement to drive the right level of prospective activities in a given day and week.
    • Establish a process to enable your team as well as Account Executives on best practices for cracking into accounts.
    • Celebrate the fact that your org has delivered key results in support of their objectives for the year.
      • Qualified Opportunities pipeline supports our goal of 3x pipeline coverage.
      • Deliver the best-possible customer experience by contacting leads within 5 minutes of submitting requests.
    • Establish our sales development career path.
  • Within six months:

    • Hire and retain exceptional people.
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to develop the next set of ambitious goals that your org should work towards.
    • Help shape new go-to-market strategies to engage new segments and regions of customers.
    • Become a subject matter expert on all things modern data stack and customer data platforms.

About You

You are an experienced and visionary people-driven sales leader who has the skills to effectively drive progress toward our sales organization’s ambitious and challenging objectives. You are strongly aligned with our values and bring a high sense of ownership to your work at Hightouch.
