Candidates need a PhD in electrical engineering or related field with 5+ years of post-graduate experience in GaN HEMTs, including design, modeling, processing, and characterization; experience with TCAD simulations; understanding of device reliability and fabrication methods; and a proven track record in leading R&D programs.
The role involves working collaboratively within a team environment, mentoring junior staff, interfacing with internal and government customers, and working in a semiconductor cleanroom.
A strong candidate has hands-on experience writing, winning, and executing research projects, has authored scientific publications and given technical presentations, and can independently pursue difficult technical subjects, design experiments, and communicate effectively.
