Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred
4+ years of professional experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
Knowledge of revenue and billing systems is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex contracts and data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment and manage multiple priorities
Big 4 or audit experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Review and interpret revenue contracts to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and company Policy
Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations to align on revenue recognition treatment
Process orders and activations in the revenue system with accuracy and completeness
Manage billing processes and oversee collection activities
Perform credit checks for new customers or partners onboarding and monitor ongoing credit exposure across the pipeline
Monitor and track withholding tax on customer payments and work with stakeholders to resolve issues
Participate in revenue-related month-end close activities
Lead data analysis projects across billing, collections, and revenue recognition to identify risks and opportunities
Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and scalability of revenue operations
