Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years specifically in revenue accounting from a Big 4 firm, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Strong experience in researching GAAP, particularly ASC 606, is required, along with proficiency in ERP systems such as Salesforce, Certinia, and FloQast, and advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, including lookups, formulas, and data manipulation. Familiarity with sales tax compliance across multiple states is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for the timely and accurate closing of revenue, providing compliance analysis and guidance on revenue treatment for all products and services, and assisting with month-end closing activities. They will also conduct trend analysis to aid decision-making, proactively identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and leverage technology, strengthen collaboration with other departments to ensure ASC 606 compliance, and stay current with industry trends and accounting standards to enhance team members’ skills and knowledge.
