As a Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the Controller and play a crucial role in our financial success. This position involves managing revenue processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS, and driving accurate and timely financial reporting. You will collaborate with the Controller, CAO, and cross-functional teams to maintain financial accuracy, foster client relationships, and support strategic business decisions. Responsibilities

  • Analyze revenue transactions to determine appropriate recognition under both US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Independently analyze billing data and financial reports to identify trends and discrepancies in revenue and monthly billing.
  • Maintain company receivables and payables ledgers for Payor and CKCC programs.
  • Work with account management to manage client relationships and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Track and reconcile incentive payments for providers and practices.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to billing matters and address customer concerns and disputes.
  • Collaborate with the legal, account management, and finance departments to ensure new agreements are set up and executed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with legal on new business development opportunities, including joint ventures and other related business transactions.
  • Collaborate with the data and operations teams on data integrity/completeness and understanding contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Proven, advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or Blackline preferred).
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • CPA certification or Certified Public Accounting (CPA) License preferred.
  • A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to learn quickly and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively.
  • A high sense of urgency with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% annually (for onsite meetings as needed).
