Responsibilities

  • Support managing and delivering R&D activities across the R&D department
  • Focus on new product development and advanced development projects
  • Assume responsibility for various aspects of the product’s lifecycle, including material changes, process improvement, regulatory submissions, shelf-life studies, responding to sales & marketing requests, and returned product investigations
  • Provide technical leadership and take ownership of critical technical tasks in the execution of product development projects
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of current products from a technical point of view: design, materials, performances, manufacturing process
  • Design new products, optimise product performance, and refine product design to meet technical specifications and unit cost target
  • Build and test prototypes, analyse and report test data, and interpret to identify optimal solution(s)
  • Identify and manage key risks throughout the product lifecycle
