Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing corporate, workplace, retail and/or commercial interior design projects
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, or related field
  • Licensed Architect or in the licensure process required
  • AutoCAD and Revit skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from start to finish as the project leader
  • Utilize the company's resource groups for design, preparation of design and construction documents
  • Provide construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.)
  • Serve as the key contact with the client, and their consultants and representatives
  • Conduct local, county, state and federal project code searches and analysis for each project
  • Ensure the financial success of all responsible projects by adhering to budgets and workplans
  • Act as a technical resource (codes and construction) to other Ware Malcomb PM/PAs
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members
  • Mentor, train, and lead assigned team members
  • Create and lead a positive, team-oriented environment
  • Oversee the development of contract documents
