Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in one or more states, with a minimum of 10 years of design experience related to aviation, transportation, site development, or municipal projects. They must have at least 2 years of project management experience, reside within or be open to relocating to the greater Minneapolis - Saint Paul, Minnesota area, and demonstrate prior business development experience including a track record of maintaining client relations and securing new project opportunities. Proficiency in preparing plan sets, specifications, and construction cost estimates, as well as effective written and verbal communication skills, are also required.
The Senior Project Manager will lead design and planning for complex site development and airfield design projects, manage project teams and scopes, schedules, financials, and technical requirements, coach and mentor less experienced professionals, serve as a technical expert, travel to project sites to build relationships, collaborate with engineering teams, attend industry events, and prepare proposals and technical reports. They will also contribute to the development of marketing plans, cultivate client relations, and deliver client presentations.
