Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in one or more states. They should have a minimum of 10 years of design experience related to aviation, transportation, site development, or municipal projects, along with at least 2 years of project management experience. Applicants must reside within or be willing to relocate to the greater Minneapolis - Saint Paul, Minnesota area, and demonstrate prior business development experience through a track record of client relations and securing project opportunities. Proficiency in preparing plan sets, specifications, and construction cost estimates is also required, alongside effective written and verbal communication skills for proposal development, technical reports, and presentations.
The Senior Project Manager will lead design and planning for complex site development and airfield design projects, manage project teams and their scopes, schedules, financials, and technical requirements, coach and mentor less experienced professionals, serve as a technical expert, travel to project sites to build relationships, collaborate with engineering teams, attend industry events, and prepare proposals and technical reports.
