Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and be a licensed Professional Engineer, with at least 10 years of related Engineering experience in roadway and/or transportation design. Previous experience with ODOT and Ohio Local Public Agency projects is preferred, along with knowledge of ODOT standards and practices, including experience with the ODOT Plan Preparation and review process and preparing ODOT Cost Estimates. The ability to obtain a PE license in multiple states is also required.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee transportation projects and technical tasks, proactively managing project budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations while working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. They will be responsible for project performance and profitability, including financial project management tasks such as A/R and invoicing. Additionally, the role involves designing various transportation projects, writing reports adhering to local and state standards, attending meetings, and maintaining a safe working environment. The candidate may also collaborate on sales and business development efforts, including client visits, proposal reviews, and marketing activities.
