Requirements

Candidates should possess a relevant higher education degree in public administration, IT, or a related field, equivalent to a minimum of a bachelor's degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry or a combination of education and at least 10 years of experience is required, with a minimum of 3 years of documented experience in directly comparable tasks. Candidates should have a deep understanding of software development principles, potentially from a background as a software developer or engineer. Basic PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Agile certifications, as well as PMI and IPMA certificates and experience with agile development and methods, such as Scrum, are considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will develop and implement project definitions, goals, and detailed plans. They will manage personnel and subcontractors regarding time, costs, and quality, follow up on risk plans, and provide relevant and professional reporting to internal and external steering groups. The role involves organizing project teams, being responsible for both project implementation and the well-being and development of employees, serving as a communicator at all organizational levels, and collaborating with other projects and maintenance teams. Furthermore, the Senior Project Manager will oversee the implementation of custom applications and individual development and maintenance work for customers within a modern, digital, and Agile delivery model, managing overall customer projects, tracking progress, and coordinating equipment, software, tools, and personnel.
