Requirements

  • Expertise in SQL Server/Oracle and Xchanging Software Europe limited application tools for issue resolution and functionality development
  • Ability to manage support teams across international sites, ensuring compliance with contractual SLAs, utilisation, and billability targets
  • Experience in release lifecycles, timeframes, content management, monthly reporting, and invoicing
  • Proficiency in forecasting team utilisation and revenue
  • Strong escalation and liaison skills with teams, departments, and clients
  • Knowledge of coding standards, best practices, and internal processes/audits
  • Capability to work shift patterns to cover core contracted support hours
  • Skills in time reporting, team administration (sickness, holidays, cover, appraisals, reviews, meetings)

Responsibilities

  • Manage support team providing issue resolution and additional functionality using SQL/Oracle and Xchanging tools, ensuring SLA compliance
  • Provide exceptional customer service: onsite visits quarterly, weekly management meetings, monthly service reviews
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure high standards and compliance with processes
  • Handle monthly reporting, invoicing, warranty issues review/agreement
  • Forecast team utilisation and revenue accurately for management
  • Escalate issues correctly, liaise with teams/departments, maintain client documentation
  • Suggest improvements in weekly team leader meetings for service development
  • Train team on new processes, assist with complex SQL/Xchanging issues
  • Schedule/arrange release content/timelines with team/client, monitor progress/SLA on support calls
  • Communicate with client throughout development lifecycle, demonstrate SQL fixes, assist in Development/QA/UAT testing
  • Proactively escalate issues to line manager, ensure coding standards/best practices
  • Enter weekly time reporting for invoicing
  • Collaborate with Implementation teams for client transitions into support
  • Serve as point of contact/escalation for client managers
  • Manage all team administration: sickness/return-to-work, holidays/cover/resources, quarterly objectives/training reviews, yearly appraisals, regular team meetings/planning
