Requirements

  • Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in computational biology, bioengineering, or biophysics
  • Deep expertise in sequencing technologies and bioinformatics pipelines, including related emerging areas (graph genomes)
  • Demonstrated understanding of algorithmic and bioinformatics applications in genomics, including genome assembly, secondary analysis, and applications in diagnostics and precision medicine
  • 8+ or more years of product management experience, with proven delivery of software tools, libraries, and SDKs
  • Experience with deep learning in genomics including applications in variant calling, pathogenicity detection, and genomic foundation models
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate concepts and value propositions to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

  • Define and nurture product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Parabricks and underlying libraries for genomics data generation and processing in the life sciences
  • Gather insights from key customers, developers, and partner with Solutions Architects, Alliance Management, and Business Development on broader market signals to set requirements and priorities
  • Work closely with engineering leadership to deliver on our product roadmap
  • Engage key customers, academic collaborators, bioinformatics developers, and industry partners to capture insights, validate concepts, and drive adoption
  • Define the go-to-market strategies and contribute to product positioning and sales enablement
  • Work with product marketing and technical marketing engineering to assist in creating technical content that communicates your products' value proposition to the world
