About the Role

You will lead the development of CxS Products, collaborating with Space Systems, Product/Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure responsiveness to customer needs. This role may evolve with organizational changes and the lifecycle of our constellations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PM with experience in satellite systems, a strong technical background, and a flexible, adaptable nature, seeking a high-impact role with growth potential. The ideal candidate is excited to work as part of a global team and contribute to Planet’s mission to image the entire Earth daily and make global change visible, accessible, and actionable.

  • Collaborate closely with program management, engineering, ground systems, and satellite operations teams to design and deliver reliable, secure, and scalable CxS capabilities, including a Direct Access Service.
  • Drive the development and launch of new product features.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-facing teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Success, and Support) for CxS offerings, enabling pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Work with compliance and security teams to ensure all products and services adhere to export control laws, national security constraints, and data privacy standards.
  • Develop pricing models and packaging in coordination with finance.
