Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Product Merchandising, Product Marketing, Retail Merchandising, or related field (or suitable combination of education, experience, and training)
  • 3+ years’ experience in retail and/or product creation role with a deep understanding of product benefits and creation process
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the training marketplace and culture of sport with strong consumer understanding
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate, lead, negotiate, and impact the triad
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Experience managing complex timelines and delivering against key milestones
  • Excellent business management experience, analytical proficiency, and understanding of retail math, with experience in Excel/Keynote/Miro/MMX
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
  • Passion for serving consumers, strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, passion for sport/life training, and deep understanding of the Jordan consumer
  • High workload capacity and resourcefulness

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product creation process from initial concept through commercialization and production, ensuring alignment with critical dates, product specifications, sustainability goals, and profitability targets
  • Lead the product creation process across the men’s, women’s, and kids Jordan Sport teams
  • Analyze training trends in global markets and translate those insights into authentic Jordan Brand opportunities
  • Craft and communicate a vision for Jordan Training across the wider Jordan Sport product, design, merchandising, and development teams, driven through end-in-mind storytelling and consumer-right product strategies
  • Lead the seasonal product creation process for the Training category, partnering with design, development, merchandising, and brand teams
  • Service a global marketplace with sharp line planning skills that reflect consumer insights, marketplace trends, and business objectives
  • Produce best-in-class product briefing by obsessing over consumer culture of influence and creating insights to fuel product lines + create opportunities that inspire the holistic triad
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely delivery of samples and alignment with go-to-market strategies
  • Champion the Jordan Training consumer and ensure product solutions reflect their tastes, habits, and cultural preferences
  • Influence cross-functional teams across the Jordan family and manage seasonal line plans to deliver compelling product assortments that resonate with the global consumer
