We are building the fastest, most powerful customer support platform for the next generation of B2B companies. Some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies, like Stytch, Sanity, and Fly.io, rely on Plain to consolidate all the channels where they speak with customers, collaborate with their teams, and speed up their workflow with our lightning-fast UI. We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our team and help us define the next phase of support tooling.

Requirements

  • Experience working with distributed, serverless systems.
  • Proven track record working for product-led companies, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Comfortable building full-stack applications.
  • Experience with Postgres.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and paradigms independently.
  • Excited about architectural conversations and customer conversations.
  • Driven by impact above all.

Responsibilities

  • Help set overall product direction as part of the team.
  • Iterate on the technical architecture, developer experience, and API.
  • Ship features to solve customer problems, end to end.
  • Talk to customers to validate ideas and scope features.
  • Lead the development of features, from back-end infrastructure and API schemas to the front-end experience.
  • Work closely with the designer to ensure top-notch user experience.
  • Contribute to the overall user experience, from copy to UI details.
