Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, engineering, or statistics. A minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Science/Analytics is required, along with strong proficiency in data manipulation using SQL and Python, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau. Familiarity with A/B testing, experiment best practices, causal inference, and machine learning is also necessary. Experience in SaaS or Product-led Growth companies is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will define the data science roadmap for their product area, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and marketing leads. They will define and measure success metrics for new features, utilize data to uncover trends and identify growth opportunities, and shape product roadmaps. This role involves applying quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to improve product experience, sharing actionable insights with leadership, and collaborating with other data scientists to share best practices and mentor junior team members.
