Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data-focused roles supporting a product audience, helping make roadmap trade-offs in a fast-paced environment (startup experience preferred)
  • Expertise in SQL to build complex, scalable queries, with familiarity in a scripting language like Python for descriptive and statistical analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, Sigma Computing, and Mixpanel (or similar tools)
  • Ability to proactively identify new product opportunities by deeply understanding data
  • Deep understanding of users, excitement about analyzing rich datasets across customer cohorts, and ability to build metrics frameworks to explain user behaviors
  • Thrive in high autonomy, handling data requests and proactively surfacing new product opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, translating complex data insights into actionable strategies for diverse audiences
  • Customer and business-oriented mindset, balancing quantitative data with qualitative insights to drive product and strategic decisions
  • Attention to detail, going above and beyond surface-level asks to predict feature impacts on business

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the VP of Product to define and execute Scribe's data strategy aligning with organizational goals, delivering through data initiatives
  • Partner closely with Data Engineering, Revenue Ops, and Finance teams to create a holistic picture of customer impact
  • Develop and implement North Star metrics by creating scalable datasets and dynamic dashboards for timely, actionable insights enabling data-driven decisions
  • Measure the impact of every new feature before, during, and after development to ensure positive business metric impacts
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on product health and usage using funnel analysis, root cause analysis, and statistical modeling to uncover insights and drive growth
  • Help build the foundation for a high-performing data analytics team by mentoring future analysts and fostering a culture of rigorous experimentation and continuous learning
