Responsibilities

  • Monitors the performance and output of the team and re-assigns production tasks and inputs to ensure that production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards are met
  • Coaches and mentors less experienced engineers to help them use production equipment or resolve production problems
  • Deals with complex queries escalated by production engineers and technicians so that the team meets established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards
  • Execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions
