Expertise in leading development and enhancement of sophisticated models and reports for tanker freight research
Experience mentoring and developing junior analysts
Ability to oversee development of Tanker Freight Rate Forecast aligned with established methodologies
Proficiency in advanced data-driven analytics, comprehensive demand and supply models for crude oil, refined products, liquid bulk trade flows, and oil tanker freight markets
Strong skills in market intelligence development and maintenance for high-quality, relevant data
Capability to develop advanced market scenarios and actionable insights for freight markets and liquid bulk commodities
Knowledge of physical trade dynamics in liquid bulk and freight markets
Expertise in in-depth trend analysis, including supply and demand based on Global Shipbuilding Market and Maritime Regulatory Framework
Excellent communication skills across reports, presentations, calls, emails, and meetings
Experience in original research, data mining, and identifying marketable findings
Ability to establish and document research processes, standards, and best practices
Strong collaboration skills with sales teams
Proven project management skills for handling multiple priorities and ensuring timely completion

Responsibilities

Lead creation and maintenance of market intelligence and research flow for S&P Global Commodity Insights Freight Analytics products
Develop advanced market scenarios and actionable insights for freight markets and trade flows in liquid bulk commodities (crude oil and refined products)
Drive client visibility into dynamics of physical trade in liquid bulk and freight markets
Provide thorough analysis, commentary, and interpretation of trends in liquid bulk commodities and freight markets
Communicate insights to clients via reports, presentations, calls, emails, and meetings
Oversee training and development of Research Analysts on the FRF Tanker Project
Conduct original research and data mining to identify marketable findings
Establish and document research processes for internal standards and best practices
Collaborate with Sales teams to analyze reports and communicate insights to customers
Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely completion and alignment with goals
