Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a fundraising plan for institutional investors and platforms within the United States and select other markets opportunistically
  • Successfully source new LPs and AUM
  • Play a leadership role within Capital Formation on all capital raising activities for Sagard funds - be the “voice of the client” internally
  • Develop and cultivate LP relationships throughout the investment community to promote Sagard’s funds, brand, platform and capabilities
  • Articulate Sagard’s philosophy, products and platform including differentiating characteristics of the organization and commercially relevant fundraises
  • Support the execution of the go-to-market strategy established by the Head of Capital Formation. Act as a “Deal Captain” and lead fundraising assignments directly
  • Systematically map and target investors not presently invested with Sagard
  • Maintain a detailed engagement log and track progress and impact within the established CRM
  • Build relevant and trusted relationships with target limited partners in agreed upon coverage market (i.e. Pension, F&E, Single and Multi-Family office, Consul
