Requirements

10+ years of architecture experience building, consulting to, or implementing technology for government departments and agencies (experience working directly on government cloud platforms a plus)
Deep expertise in the public sector industry with an excellent understanding of data topics and challenges related to various government departments and agencies (global understanding of public sectors in various regions a plus)
Ability to leverage public sector experience to define global strategy for public sector across geographies, with focus on local Americas market from execution standpoint to drive growth
Broad range of experience with technical and design direction including large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and public cloud technologies
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python with hands-on experience

Responsibilities

Partner with customers on strategic opportunities: drive customer engagement in strategic deals, build trusted relationships with executives and enterprise data architects, act as a trusted advisor blending business and technical context to advance opportunities
Innovate and design solutions: work with public sector sales and solution engineering teams to translate public sector experience into solutions and sales assets, create end-to-end architectures and future-state blueprints, demo showcases embedding AI/ML and agentic flows, apply expertise in security and compliance to develop architectures and product fitment point of views
Drive repeatability and scale: lead strategic initiatives by building repeatable solution assets and frameworks for global adoption, deliver system/application architecture and demo showcases integrating Snowflake into customer ecosystems, scale expertise through field enablement, workshops, and playbooks
Influence the Product and Public Sector roadmap: act as a conduit to product teams, provide structured feedback based on industry needs and customer requirements to shape Snowflake's product roadmap for the public sector
Be a thought leader: drive technical thought leadership for the public sector through blogs, talks, field enablement, and contributions to industry marketing activities including webinars and conferences
