Requirements

  • BSc. Computer Science or similar
  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development in a product development team. Object-oriented programming experience is required
  • 3+ years experience as DevOps/SRE in a production environment
  • 2+ years experience with containers, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD
  • 2+ years experience with AWS or GCP/Azure
  • 1+ years experience with CI/CD - GitLab/Jenkins/Github Actions/etc
  • Experience with networking, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration
  • Fluent in English language
  • Advantage - Experienced with declarative IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi
  • Commitment to a collaborative environment infused with professionalism, integrity, passion, and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Define infrastructure standards for dev teams
  • Design, implement and develop tools for controlling infrastructure of microservices
  • Build CI/CD automation and templates with GitLab
  • Build, maintain and operate AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the applications and architecture at Via
  • Work in contact with other teams across the company to ensure smooth and documented changes to all environments
  • Identify and resolve problems in mission-critical services, automating remediation procedures to prevent recurrences
  • Bring ideas to the table, take ownership over their project timelines and deliverables and help us scale
