Requirements

Candidates should have experience working with AWS and/or GCP, and experience working with Kubernetes. They should be comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity, be naturally inclined to solve problems through automation, and have some experience with strongly typed languages, writing and working on backend software. Curiosity about systems and diving deep to investigate issues is also desired.

Responsibilities

The Senior Platform Engineer will build and maintain the infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable technology teams to succeed. This includes working on shared infrastructure, services, and engineer tooling, specifically focusing on running Kubernetes clusters, managing the service mesh and networking setup, and controlling how other teams interact with cloud environments. Responsibilities also involve building and centrally managing cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, running components like Kubernetes and Envoy, and abstracting cloud infrastructure complexity to help other platform teams solve customer problems.
