Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in platform engineering, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform is required, along with a deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go is also necessary, as is experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, and contribute to the design, implementation, and management of our internal developer platform. You will also be responsible for optimizing cloud-based GPU workloads for model training, re-architecting the cloud estate, and supporting the public release of Ai.rplane, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. Furthermore, you will collaborate with various teams to enhance the developer experience and drive innovation within the cloud environment.
