Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in process engineering or related major scientific discipline
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience leading capital projects, leading people and collaborating across functional boundaries
Experience working with Global Teams
Manufacturing experience in a plant assignment
Knowledge of Nonwovens SpunMelt Technology or Nonwoven Fabrics Manufacturing, highly preferred
Ability to stand, walk, and perform light labor
Flexibility on work hours and travel required to support problems and technology development
Responsibilities
Provide process, technical, and project leadership for the Lexington Mill in support of the product supply organization Halyard Health
Handle technology development and maintenance, project results control, people direction and development
Act as a recognized process technical expert with high standards of professional performance, vision, and sensitivity
Communicate directly and report to the Mill Sr. Engineering Manager
Develop process strategy and drive continuous improvement for all functional areas (maintenance, operations, process, and quality)
Provide leadership for process issues in the mill and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and correct areas impacting business results
Manage self and/or team in accordance with One Halyard Behaviors
Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects, including scope, risk mitigation, and achieving business/individual objectives
Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and construction of production processes and equipment
Prepare and manage budgets and schedules related to projects
Complete all work in a safe manner consistent with Halyard safety & quality protocols
Manage process specifications used by external partners (e.g., Engineering Service Providers, Equipment vendors)
