Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with over 8 years of experience in Workday HCM, including business processes, reporting, security, and integrations. A minimum of 4 years of hands-on Workday Studio experience is required, along with a strong track record of building custom integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday APIs, and iPaaS solutions like Workato. Proficiency in XML, XSLT, REST, SOAP, JSON, and related integration technologies is essential, as is comfort with HR, payroll, and equity processes. Experience in a global environment, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are also necessary. Bonus points include exposure to other Workday modules, experience with equity platforms like Shareworks, familiarity with data privacy regulations, experience with other iPaaS tools, Workday certifications, and experience with Greenhouse ATS.

Responsibilities

The Senior People Systems Developer will be the primary point of contact for Workday integrations and downstream systems, monitoring the integration landscape to ensure smooth operation. Responsibilities include building and enhancing integrations from design to launch, architecting secure, automated, and easily monitorable workflows, and translating complex technical ideas into clear processes for stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with HR, Payroll, Finance, Equity Administration, Legal, and IT to deliver secure, scalable, and automated solutions, and providing Tier 2 support in the ticketing system with a customer-first mindset. The developer will also assist with systems-related inquiries and enhancements, lead cross-functional projects, and contribute to other areas of Workday as needed.
