Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, partner engineering, or solutions architecture. Extensive experience building and presenting demos, technical enablement materials, and solution content for external audiences is required. A deep understanding of containers, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and CI/CD tools is necessary, along with a creative approach to partner engagement, comfort presenting to diverse audiences, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter capable of working autonomously. Bonus experience with Terraform, GitOps, or vulnerability scanning tools is preferred.
The Senior Partner Sales Engineer will act as the primary technical point of contact for strategic technology partners, developing and maintaining compelling demos, solution templates, reference architectures, and integration guides. They will deliver technical workshops, field training, and enablement sessions for partners, and translate business objectives into actionable technical engagement plans while measuring outcomes. This role involves collaborating with alliances, sales, and marketing teams to shape co-sell strategies and go-to-market initiatives, representing Chainguard at partner webinars, conferences, and executive briefings, and independently managing select partner relationships from onboarding through to long-term technical success.
